Romantic Sunday's Adventure

Can romance be adventurous?

Does traveling to another country draw out the passion in you? What makes you feel alive with sensuality...the blue waters in a river? Or an undiscovered Island? A secret hideaway only you and your lover know about? Or is it being the only two on a boat in the middle of the ocean fighting the storms of desire?

You tell me.

Maybe. It’d be nice to think that somewhere beyond the sea, somewhere waiting for me, my lover stands on golden sands… with an apple pie, ice cream, and a caramel frappe.

I’d give her a bunch of flowers. And after telling her not to give me any frappe, I’d smile and hope for the best.

ROTFLOL....why you little devil...you are a romantic at heart aren't ya'?

While you're standing there hoping for the best somewhere beyond the sea your lover stands on golden sands with flowers in hand and knows she's found herself a cowboy baby!

Romance?.....Adventure!....I suppose that depends?...Your wife, or another. Mmmm...Let me think!...Sorry, it would have to be both, now that would be adventurous!(especially at the same time!)

Adventure, romance, dunno about this one. We are not that adventurous, we would rather stay at home, cos we are not big spenders.

Of course I'd love it, if it was free

Chey!

I've heard that kind of adventure never seems to work in a man's favor...unless it's two men and a woman...but Cecile would know more about that than me.

Yes...adventure and romance...imagine you and BF hicking up to the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains and once you get there you see the beautiful landscrape below...it's breath taking, then you look at him...all sexy and sweaty and yours...yours to have your way with him in the open country of the Blue Ridge Mountains...haven't you ever make love surround by mother nature...it's awesome! Something about the blue sky above and the gentle breeze over your nake bodies! Or in Valances case...the sand in your hair! ;-)

YES ADVENTURE...never joined the mile high club?

Am I going to have to send Cecile over there to teach you to be adventurous?

Blod..sorry
hecking = hiking...
breath taking=breathtaking and surround=surrounded

Obviously - I need to take a break and rest me eyes...been up before the sun...as usual!

Romance (especially the sparking of a new one) is one of life's greatest adventures!! Its full of perils, rewards, and heart-stopping moments of indecision. If a man or woman doesn't feel that, then maybe they're on the journey with the wrong partner.

Hello Hawk!

Well, now that is an interesting question. What does draw out the passion? Actually its being with the one I love...the rest is icing, be it hiking on a wooded trail, rapalling down a castle wall, walking on the beach as the sea sings...because it is all those things that make the time with the one I love even better.

Hope all is well with you..!

Things are looking up, about as exciting as jumping off the Eiffel Tower in Springtime, hand in hand, or into the Seine at sunset.

D.L.,

I agree with you...the fab feeling's of a new courtship, but then there is that wonderful feeling of the old...you know all the right moves, you know all the love spots and there's a comfort in this wonderful knowing of an old relationship...that's when you know you've got the right one!

That new "feeling" never goes away...it may change in it's texture, color and vibes...but it's there!

Ain't true love grand!

That's exactly my point...you said just what I said... only better!

Awesome sweetie!

Oscar??!!!

Is there something you want to get off your chest?

Did you find the wrong day? This is not Moony Monday...this is Romantic Sunday.

You said - "Things are looking up, about as exciting as jumping off the Eiffel Tower in Springtime, hand in hand, or into the Seine at sunset."

I sure hope this isn't in reaction to my blog or post...I work very hard to make things interesting and excitingly different for all of you.

And My girls are doing their best as well to entertain and capture all interests of the rainbow.

Romance has many shades of interest....we can't leave anyone out.

If this is in reaction to love... :-( I'm sorry

Summit's sure got into that cowboy. Yer better off with a 99 on the beach, Valance.

A man called Valance said...

JJ, I gotta feeling that having a 99 on the beach might come across as having an entirely different meaning to the one you intended.

Oscar, don't worry old buddy. I appreciated the irony in what you said. Hell, if you're gonna get chewed off a strip for that, I'm damned if I'm gonna say what I think of today's offering.

Houston A.W. Knight said...

O.K., now you cowboys and girls are confusing me!

J.J., what's a 99?

And I wasn't yelling at anyone...I was just trying to figure out what Oscar was talking about...

Man all this Cowboy talk is going over me head.

Valance! NOW I'M YELLING AT YOU! WHAT'S WRONG WITH TODAYS OFFERING!??? hum??? Tell me what's wrong with this picture? In English please!

Boy...I'm getting picked on...ON ME OWN BLOG! Well that ain't right...ain't right at'tall!

Thanks OSCAR!

Oh put your face straight. Nobody’s picking on you. I’m just lending a little sympathy to Oscar. If the poor fella’s gonna get chewed up and lectured for what he said, then I’m gonna stand beside my buddy and respectfully decline to say what I think of today’s picture, for fear of getting what he got. The poor fella’s just injecting a little humor into the proceedings, that’s all, and after all the years he’s been married, I reckon he’s earned his opinion the hard way. Now shut up and put your face straight.

As for the 99… well it could be construed in different ways, particularly when mentioned along with a 69. But in the context of JJ’s comment, it’s an Ice Cream.

PS – You look awful pretty when you’re angry

(*He ducks on the way out*)

Miss Houston's feeling sparky enough to give Mr. Valance a boot in the butt as he scampers out and yells after his running a**...

I WASN'T PICKING ON OSCAR! I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT SO I COULDN'T BE GIVING HIM H*LL NOW COULD I!

Houston runs after Valance and tosses a rock at him but miss'es on purpose...

AND TELL YOUR P.S. TO MISS SALOON GAL...maybe she'll swallow that! I ain't! AND I'M LEAVING ME FACE JUST LIKE THIS!!!! }:-/

hum, men!

'AND I'M LEAVING ME FACE JUST LIKE THIS!!!! }:-/'

(Wonderful!)

ROTFLOL...Valance...you're a rogue! Loveable, but a rogue!

JJ Cocker said...

Mister Valance... A 99 is not just any old icecream, is it?

It's a Mister whippy with an upright Chocolate rod!

JJ Cocker said...

Oh and not just any rod... It has to be a Cadbury's Flake!

Houston A.W. Knight said...

J.J.

Sounds way way too tempting for me! ;-)

You heard it here first, Hawk. Like the lady said - an upright chocolate rod.

(JJ, I think it's time you had that talk with your mother.)
