WELCOME TO ROMANTIC SUNDAYS!

I've created Romantic Sundays (secretively to prepare you for Moony Mondays - OMG!) to stir your thoughts on romance and the beauty of love, sensuality, and desire.

This leads to the thought, WHAT IS ROMANCE?

Is it an action? A word? A look? Perhaps it is all of these. Mayhaps romance is even more than that...a sweet smile, a gentle touch on the back, and tear of pride...well this is what Romantic Sunday is all about...so come, join me every Sunday and let explore ROMANCE in all it's forms.

How many of you see romance starting with the angelic light of the moon? What arousing effect does this amazing natual satellite to Earth have on your libido?

Just wondering

Yes what is romance....for me it is when he held my hand for the first time

One day a week is plenty to obligate to "romance." At least, it's a distant memory what with old age and other things insinuating their selves into my life. Oh, well, it was fun while it lasted. By the way I want to welcome you to my blog site, BlogginCurly. Thanks for becoming a follower!

Yes, that first touch is always exciting isn't it? It's the first time you feel the softness or ruggedness of his skin...it a magical moment for sure.

Oscar,

Never too old for romance...romance is in the mind and the little things you do...got nothing to do with sex. Sex usually follows romance...but when life or age or health gets in the way... romance is still there...it's the best things about getting old.

Big hugs Oscar!

Objection, Your Honor. Besides being a leading question that dictates the effect will be one of arousal, I had to read the question three times before I could be sure in my own mind, that Hawk hadn't found a new, convoluted way of talking dirty, as befitting of this blog’s smut influx.

As for romance, a whiskey before and a cigarette after always works for me.

Romance equals sex every time in a man's mind, I mean all the time. Women think it's romantic to think about flower blossoms, but men think in the terms of the pistil and the stamen.

Just like a man to think there's more to my question than the question...there is not.

O.K., does a romantic thought come before the whiskey or after? Careful, this could be the trick question you were looking for. *g*

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THIS '...Hawk hadn't found a new, convoluted way of talking dirty, as befitting of this blog’s smut influx.'

VALANCE? }:-/
Are you picking on me girl Cecile as well?

And knowing you...as I do Valance...I know there's more to you before the whiskey! But I'll keep that to meself. *G*

Oscar,

To let you in on a secret...we women are think a whole lot about something...and it isn't flowers or blossoms that are on our romantic minds...have you seen Cecile's blog? It's a clue to what women really are thinking about when we romantically label it a beautiful rose... *G*

But with that said...there is romance in us women as well...but to us it isn't always flowers or candy or a diamond ring...sometimes its as simple as our man coming up to us after a hard day - tossing his arms around us and telling us (even when we're grumpty) that he loves us and thinks we're beautiful.

It makes me think back to a much younger me, a much younger hubby, a moonlit night, a grassy field, and a bottle of very cheap wine...

Sharon,

Ah, but those were the best of times...weren't they? The innocents of a new love.

Hello Hawk. Let’s take it one step at a time…

‘O.K. does a romantic thought come before the whiskey or after?’

Sometimes before, sometimes after. Either way, it always finishes up in my pants.

‘WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THIS '...Hawk hadn't found a new, convoluted way of talking dirty, as befitting of this blog’s smut influx.'

I mean this… ‘How many of you see romance starting with the angelic light of the moon? What arousing effect does this amazing natual satellite to Earth have on your libido?’

‘Are you picking on me girl Cecile as well?’

Course not. I never said a smut influx was a bad thing, now did I? Besides, I’m smart enough to realize a man can’t pick on one clucking hen, without picking on them all.

‘And knowing you...as I do Valance...I know there's more to you before the whiskey! But I'll keep that to meself.’

(Shh!)

Sometimes I just don't know what to say!! Mr. V you just made me laugh out loud!!

"but men think in the terms of the pistil and the stamen."

As do we Oscar as do we!

I like the beginnings of a romance when you get all the butterflies and you get flushed and warm to the touch when he does hold your....hand for the first time.

I am so sorry I am late!! This is a funny post... not funny because of what you said... but funny because I am not even here and yet I am here! LMBO!!!

Oh I think men would be surprised as to how often a "romantic" gesture could get them what they actually want. And another thing they would be surprised about is how often a lady thinks about certain things... might be more than a man thinks about it!
Hope you had a great night hon!
With all those hussy smutty dreams!

Cecile!

Oh you are so right on a woman's mind...IF MEN only knew what we thought about! And if they only knew...helping the wife with the dishes could get them the world in the bedroom!

That's right guys...its not always chocolate that is marked for romance sometimes its helping out around the house that's the trick to hot loving in the bedroom!

And Yes, I did have some awesome dreams last night!

Krachen,

There is something about the first glance, first words, first touch, and the first kiss that stay with you forever...isn't there?

Romance is something isn't it? I wonder why men don't feel that "first" like we women do? Or do they and just don't like to talk about it like we do?

Hugs darlin!

The sight of a beautiful moon in the sky does certainly rev up my romantic feelings, but I always, instinctively, must recite this 'prayer' that a wonderful old woman taught me---

"I see the Moon, and the Moon sees me,
Goddess bless the Moon,
And Goddess bless me."

Houston A.W. Knight said...

Suzy,

That's a beautiful prayer...some might even say its spellbinding! ;-)

Blessed be!
