From the website called: TodayTonight

The industry-wide secret  that butchers don't want you to know: A special Meat Glue product sticking your steak, chicken, pork and probably fish together, and it can make you sick....and who knows what else (health wise) it's doing to us.

Makes you wonder about man kind and what the hell they're thinking?
Guess I'll be going back to me Veggies.

BTW - if for some reason this video (above) doesn't work, here is a link to go to TodayTonight and see it there:

It is a tape you DO NOT want to affects us ALL who eat!

If you're curious as to whether the USDA allows it's use here in the States (limited but there), it does. But our labeling laws make it easier to spot.

Some the places it's used:

Transglutaminase (meat glue) can be used in:
Improving texture of meat products, such as sausages and hot dogs.

Binding different meat parts into a larger ones as in RESTRUCTURED steaks (cube steaks for one)

Improving the texture of low-grade meats (due to decline in meat post mordem)
Chicken patties and some lunch/delli meats
Imitation crab and seafood.

I buy much of my meats from local meat processors who slaughter and process the meat straight from the ranchers. At least I know it's real meat.

I love a good filet mignon, but I'll be careful in the future at restaurants. Thanks for the info.

Hey sweetie..OMG, where did you hear about all of this?

You've been a wealth of info' for all of us and I thank you for sharing what you know...I've written down the name so I can check the labels.

If the guy couldn't even sniff the power...because it was toxic...I'd like to know what eating it does to our bodies that we're yet unaware of...

Whose side are they one anyway...????

Big hugs me dear friend!

I was horrified when I saw this...I'm not a big meat eater...more veggies than anything...I started to eat more meat once I got married because hubby eats it...but, I think it's time he makes a few changes in what he's eating...

Me...I'm going back to me veggies!

Keep a lookout up there...can't trust those who claim to be protecting or there or across the pond!

Cyber hugs sweetie!

I know, Miss Hawk. Some meat products have some 'orrible manufacturing processes. I don't eat meat every day and if a product so much as mentions mechanical recovered meat, via squitting machines, I don't buy it.

That is super gross. Of course look up how they feed chickens and how livestock is treated. That will turn your stomach as well. Bad part is, I still eat meat. Thanks for the info! I will NOT be eating that stuff if I can help it!
