I have to agree with Blodeuedd here--as nice as it looks, in reality they would be frost bitten in places they don't want. Nor do we, if we want to meet them... :D
Oh how I hate the cold. And the snow. Ick. This time last year, I kid you not, we had 4 1/2 feet in our yard. About a foot from one storm, then a few days later we got the other 3 feet all in one night. That was a nightmare--power outages for a day, no way to get out of the driveway, crazy roads for those that could get out of the driveway...and Cold. Very cold. It sucks to have power go off in the middle of a snow storm because no power=no heat. Argh.
Maybe one of those snowboarders could have kept me warm...
This year, we've already got about 3 inches outside, it's been there a week or more, and unfortunately it's staying. Not by my choice, of course. Nope. Mother Nature doesn't ask me anymore.
I would say I want to move somewhere warm, but the only lure to such places is the heat. But in my heart I know I could never leave the beautiful mountains and small towns to live in a dry desert or busy city just for the warmth...though it is sometimes tempting! :D
Hope everyone stays warm and toasty where ever you are at! And if you find one of those snowboarders around your place..send one my way will ya?
Hawk-I'm more partial to the outfit the woman is wearing making snow angels..too cold to go skimpy ;) thought I'd change my tag to match my twitter,i will eventually change my blogger pic too.But I like my purple eye :)
The Book Queen-Not a fan of winter either..We usually get tons of snow here and freezing. But so far,*knock wood*, we have been lucky with the milder weather.I wonder why sometimes I stay here.lol.
Nah, it rarely snows here in North Florida. It did last year just a day or two before Christmas. It only lasted about 15 minutes, and of course it didn't stick, but it sure was cool looking! And I made a vid too. To keep warm, I dress warmly and turn my electric blanket up on high! And then there's always the beautiful Mrs. Johnny D. providing plenty of heat!
